The Patek Philippe Nautilus was introduced in 1978 when watch cases were becoming thinner. However, the Nautilus was different and became one of the brand’s most iconic models. The case of this Patek Philippe 5980/1A-001 watch is made of stainless-steel, measures 40.5mm in diameter, and is 12.2mm thick. The dial of this Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph is blue-black and features luminescent hour markers, a chronograph sub-dial at 6 o’clock, and a date display at the 3 o’clock position. The 5980/1A-001 runs on the self-winding Caliber CH 28-520 C with chronograph functionality and can last up to 55 hours on a single charge. It comes with a stainless steel bracelet and fold-over clasp. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters (330 feet).
